Knife & Fork is a Home Restaurant and B&B in Deddington, Oxfordshire who came to us via a recommendation from another client, The White Chalet Collection, for a full website redesign. Maintaining the previous site's colour scheme we used some large background images to showcase the amazing dishes (all gluten free!) that Tanya, the owner, produces for guests in her home.
We used clear Calls To Action (CTAs) to direct visitors to the site to book the restaurant via an online booking system already put in place by the client with tickedit.com.
Some aspects of having the booking system available as a widget on the site have not helped our performance scores, as is to be expected when they are an external resource, but we are pleased with how the website works for the user. With lots of images to load on-page too, we think it's still quick to navigate.
